A call was taken by Private Detectives in Wolverhampton from a worried father. He was worried about an insurance claim his son was making. His son’s car was reported missing from a car park after a recent night out. When it was eventually found it was damaged beyond repair and the insurance company were indicating it was a write off. However recently our client is worrying that his son had not actually been telling the truth about the incident and he had his suspicions that his son had in fact been driving the car at the end of the evening and had abandoned the car after an accident to cover the fact that he had been drinking. He had put this to his son but he had denied it.

We told our client that a lie detector test could set his mind at rest if his son agreed to it. He did agree as he did not like his father’s accusations. So we sent a qualified technician to our client’s home where the test was carried out in full view of our client. After the results indicated that his father had been right the son admitted that he had only agreed to the test as he thought his lies would go undetected.

He was relieved that he could finally tell his father what happened as it had been worrying him. His friend had been driving that night and had crashed into a wall. Nobody was hurt but insurance would have been void so they concocted a story. Our client was glad to get to the bottom of it.
