A local employer came to Private Investigator in Wolverhampton with concerns over the misuse of several company vehicles after he had noticed unexpectedly high mileage and very worn tyres on several separate occasions and vehicles. These issues coupled with the rapid deterioration of other recently serviced parts of the car led the client to suspect the inappropriate usage of company property that would lead to further cost and inconvenience to him and the business. After approaching employees personally to no avail the client turned to us in the hope of finding the root of the problem.

The investigation began with the identification of several suspected targets with the aid of the client and evidence of car mileage and condition in the form of required company paperwork. Once the individuals were identified the client asked that our GPS tracking service be implemented on the company vehicles so that their routes and locations could be monitored at all times. After operatives had placed trackers on the three highlighted vehicles the investigation hastened rapidly as the tracking showed all three of the identified employees driving recklessly and greatly beyond designated speed limits in areas far beyond the necessary locations.

We presented the client with a full report which contained evidence that illustrated the misdemeanours of the targets. Following the investigation the appropriate disciplinary action that the employer had been hoping for was taken against each of the individuals and a formal warning was presented to all resolving the client’s issues.
