Detectives in Wolverhampton – How Close Is Too Close

A young man approached us through Detectives in Wolverhampton with worries about his girlfriend’s relationship with a close male friend. The girlfriend of the client had retained a very close friendship with the man in question from a young age and insists that there has never been anything more than friendship between them. The client has been in a relationship with the individual for over a year and in this time has not had reason to disbelieve her words on the subject though the proximity of the pair’s relationship is obvious to all.

Lately however the individual has been going over to her friend’s much more frequently and no longer invites the client as well. These outings have accompanied a change in behaviour which has led the couple to become more distant with one another in a way they never have been before. All these changes have led the client to believe that his girlfriend could be in another relationship and he wishes to know the truth. The case was instigated with surveillance of the two individuals as they went out together as they often do. Operatives followed the pair for several hours during which they held hands until they entered the home of the client who was working. They remained here for another few hours until the client was due to return home where the pair became intimate and evidence was captured to present to the client.

Once the evidence was presented to the client which confirmed his suspicions of the evolution of the friendship he was able to confront his partner and end the relationship.
