A client called Detective in Wolverhampton to tell us of a suspicion that he has involving drugs being planted in his car. He told us of his fears that there was a person or people who have access to his vehicle that he believed were gaining entry without his consent and leaving illegal substances inside.

After a discussion with the client it was decided that the most appropriate course of action was to deploy covert cameras inside his vehicle in an attempt to capture footage of the perpetrators. He agreed that because of where he had found items in the past that we should position one in the boot and one in the cockpit.

After one week of the equipment being put in place the cameras revealed that nothing had happened and the client decided to extend the monitoring period by another week after which a young male was caught on camera placing plastic bags full of drugs into the boot space. Our client presented this evidence to the police who were able to begin to work toward a prosecution.
